Howard County: Third Richest County in America

According to the 2010 census, just three counties in America have a median household income above $100,000: Loudon County, Va. ($119,540), Fairfax County, Va. ($103,010) and our own Howard County, Md. ($101,771). That is more than twice the national average of $49,445. The median value of owner-occupied homes in Howard County is $456,200, and 58.3% of residents hold a bachelor’s degree or higher.
