Deanna Cammarata joins WEICHERT, REALTORS® — New Colony with more than a decade of experience as a contracts specialist, where she drafted, reviewed, negotiated and administered contracts for services and materials ranging from thousands of dollars into the millions. She’s developed an expertise in interpreting contracts, identifying risk, and negotiating the best possible terms for her client.

“I pride myself on being a good listener and truly understanding what a customer wants. It is so important to care about others and demonstrate that in how you act. You need to be open and honest with customers, and at the same time shield them from the stress of achieving their goals. Real estate transactions have their challenges, but to the customer the process should appear as easy as possible.”

Ralph M. Paez joins WEICHERT, REALTORS® — New Colony with 30 years of experience in new business development in the banking and technical industries, and previous experience as a Realtor in New Mexico.

Ralph enjoys cycling, genealogy, travel and spending time with his wife, grown children and granddaughter. He serves on a local home owners’ association board and is a member of the Howard County Mental Health Board of Directors.

Julie M. Mason Joins WEICHERT, REALTORS® — New Colony



Julie Mason grew up in the real estate business, with both parents working as agents and then in other areas of real estate. Later, her position with a civil engineering and land development company affirmed Julie’s decision to work in the industry. Her most recent previous position as a real estate appraiser gives Julie a unique insight into the value of a property when she’s working with clients at WEICHERT, REALTORS® — New Colony.

Julie joined WEICHERT for its reputation, and felt especially drawn to the New Colony office by the sincerity and camaraderie of its people. “I wanted to be a part of a real team. These are the type of people I want to work with, side by side.”

Julie grew up in Ellicott City, Md., and currently resides in Laurel, Md. She and her family enjoy being tourists in their own state, with so much to see and do in Maryland. She is involved with fundraising through her daughter’s Girl Scout troop, supports the St. Jude Foundation, and as the wife of an Army combat veteran, the Wounded Warrior Project is extra special to her family.

Courtney C. Harris Joins Weichert, Realtors—New Colony





After 18 years serving her country in the Army and in the federal government, Courtney is ready to serve homeowners in and around Howard County.

“There’s no one solution to finding the right home. I’m ready to put myself in my customers’ shoes, to focus on their current needs, and to anticipate their needs in the coming years. I think of myself as a real estate concierge, willing and able to handle all of the details of a purchase and sale on behalf of my clients.”

Day to day, Courtney strives for process improvements and greater efficiency to ensure that the needs of her clients are met fully and promptly. She chose to work with Weichert, Realtors—New Colony because of its commitment to customer service, which she recognized from the start. “The office manager answered the phone pleasantly and was eager to assist me and answer my questions. When I met the management team, they were enthusiastic, supportive, and even sent me a thank you note. These are traits I hold near and dear.”

Courtney was born and raised in Los Angeles, Calif., and she currently resides in Columbia, Md.  Her commitment to public service began in high school as a J.R.O.T.C. cadet, followed by military tours in Bosnia, Korea, and Afghanistan during her 10 years with the U.S. Army. Next she spent nearly a decade working in the federal government, including a prestigious Capitol Hill fellowship sponsored by the American Political Science Association.

Courtney is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Maryland Association of Realtors, the Howard County Association of Realtors and the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors.

She supports the ASPCA, the Maryland Humane Society, the Howard County Humane Society, Veterans Affairs, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Prisoner of War Foundation, the American Cancer Society, and the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America.

Courtney earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in public policy/corporate communications, both from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee, as well as a Federal Executive Leadership Certificate from The Brookings Institute in Washington, D.C.
